In fact, they are a step ahead than their Bollywood counterparts.
Anushka has made it to the 200-crore club. It is the first time that a south Indian actress has acted in such big budget films.
Anushka has three big films in her kitty.
One is Rajamouli’s 100-crore project. She also has Gunasekhar’s Rudrama Devi, which is a 50-crore project.
Then, there is her Tamil venture directed by Selva Raghavan titled Varna that is yet another 50-crore project. She gets the rare opportunity of being part of such big ventures.
She has left behind many of her contemporaries. But the tinsel ville feels she deserves every bit of her success given her looks and talent.
