The first look of Sekhar Kammula’s Anamika is out. The bi-lingual film that is being made in Telugu and Tamil is a remake of the Vidya Balan hit Kahaani.
The film’s shooting is currently on in the city. A huge set has been erected for the film.
Though most of the film’s plot has been adapted for this bi-lingual version, the first look shows that Nayanatara won’t be pregnant. In the original, Vidya Bagchi played by Vidya Balan is a heavily pregnant lady looking for her husband.
Apart from not being pregnant, there is also a new twist in the Telugu and Tamil versions.
But Sekhar Kammula sticks to the overall plot, where the female protagonist played by Nayanatara goes in search of her missing husband.
Viacom 18 Motion Pictures will be making their Telugu and Tamil debut with Anamika. The movie is being produced by Endemol India, Logline Productions Pvt Ltd and Select Media Holdings. Cinematography for the film is by Vijay C Kumar and the music is being scored by MM Keeravani.
