SRK refuses to speak in Marathi at Dahi Handi event

King Khan Shah Rukh who is currently basking in the glory of his successful film Chennai Express was recently invited at a Dahi Handicelebration organised by MNS.

From dancing on his recent chart buster lungi dance to mouthing dialogues from his hit filmsDevdas, Don and Jab Tak Hain Jaan, SRK left no stone unturned in entertaining the audiences. However, when the crowd requested the Bollywood superstar to speak in Marathi, the actor chose to skip it and handed over the mike to MNS leader, Ram Kadam.

According to Tellychakkar, after a 15-minute long speech, the crowd unanimously asked the superstar to talk in Marathi. Finding himself cornered, SRK handed over the mike to Ram Kadamand asked him to play translator and translate every Hindi word of his in Marathi.

Thankfully for him, Ram Kadam turned his saving grace by making the actor say 'Jai Maharastra' and translated his 15 minute speech on respecting woman in Marathi although with a few hiccups.

If this was not enough, Shah Rukh went ahead to admit that the only Marathi sentence he knew to speak was "Pudhe Gatirodhak Aahe" (Speed-breakers ahead).
