Shruti Hassan in Aagadu?

Continuing the ongoing debate of who is going to star opposite Mahesh’s next film directed by Srinu Vaitla – the winds look favourable for Shruti Hassan, if one has to go by the buzz in the inner circles. Tamannah Bhatia was earlier approached for the role and now, the Hassan girl is in discussion to finalise the deal. Shruti has become extremely busy in Tollywood off late, signing one film after another. Her next film with Junior NTR, Ramayya Vasthavayya is ready to release while her project with Allu Arjun, Race Gurram is in production. Shruti will also be seen starring opposite Ram Charan in Vamsi Paidipally’s Yevadu. Looking at the kind of projects she has in hand, Shruti looks promising to play that much sought role opposite Prince Mahesh. Srinu Vaitla will be trying yet another blockbuster like his earlier one with Mahesh, Dookudu. Aagadu, interestingly rhymes in the game of success.

Are Charmme’s accusations a publicity stunt?

Actress Charmme created quite an uproar with her comments on being ‘cheated’ by many directors when a sleazy inage of hers was leaked out into the media. Charmme looked all upset and made an open statement saying that some films will remain as black spots in her career and that some directors have cheated her. The picture that came out was taken during her shooting for the film Mayagadu, which stars Venu and Charmme in the leads. The actress has accused the film director to have shot her in vulgar angles without her own knowledge. Incidentally, her film Prema Oka Maikam has released today which has Charmme playing the role of a call girl. Could these acusations be a part of publicity stunt to promote her film? The film showcases the actress in a never before seen bold image.

Nag junior relies heavily on dad

Naga Chaitanya admitted that he always looks up to his father in times of crisis. He runs his scripts with Nagarjuna when in doubt, and signs projects when fully convinced about his role. Chaitanya says that Nag has been his guiding force since his childhood and not just after entering films. There have been instances where there were differences of opinion between the two. But then a sense of mutual understanding always works between them. The one advice that Naga Chaitanya always received from his dad to pursue his calling is ‘doing what he loved’. He loves getting feedback from his father and grandfather, post watching his films. Chaitanya is currently busy shooting for Manam, which stars all the three generations of Akkineni family. He is also eagerly awaiting the release of Auto Nagar Surya.

Farah Khan sends DVDs to her actors to unlearn dancing

When a leading choreographer is also the director of the film, you expect to see some spectacular dance moves in the film. But we have learnt that Farah Khan is planning just the opposite for her film 'Happy New Year'.

Here, the five heroes — Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah are supposed to be bad dancers. Just before leaving for Dubai, Farah sent each of the actors a DVD wherein she had managed to record clips of heroes who dance badly. The men have been strictly told to unlearn dance before they reach Dubai for the shooting that begins on September 2.

We will wait to see if Farah can manage to get Shah Rukh to dance badly.

Now Karisma wants to do an item number?
